JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) HUAWEI has launched its first flagship store in South Africa.

The facility has been opened at the Menlyn Shopping Centre in Pretoria.

“Our first global flagship store in South Africa is part of Huawei’s commitment to our consumers to give them the best experience with our 360-degree service offering,” said Likun Zhao, Vice President of HUAWEI Consumer Business Group, Middle East and Africa.

According to officials, the Huawei global flagship store offers more than the Huawei Customer Service Centres that local Huawei users are familiar with.

It provides technical support and maintenance repairs and sells the full range of Huawei products that are available in South Africa.

The facility has online and offline offerings.

Online, it has a 24/7 service hotline, a Whatsapp and Hi-Care app as well as active social media platforms.

Zhao explained Huawei’s approach when conceptualising the global flagship stores.

“In the smartphone era, a retail store is not only about products, it is also about an experience,” he said.

Huawei has a special offer running from November 29 to 31.
