LAGOS, (CAJ News) MOBILE network operator, MTN Nigeria, has commenced calls for nominations for projects to benefit from funding under its corporate responsibility (CSR) initiative.

The CSR plan by the MTN Foundation is tagged, “What Can We Do Together.”

It is now in its fourth year.

Nigerians nominate the communities that will receive the projects.

There have been projects in 510 communities across 454 local government areas in the West African country.

“And there’s still even more that can be done,” MTN stated.

MTN’s CSR initiative look is likely to focus on curbing the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in Nigeria.

Nigeria has confirmed 645 deaths from 28 711 cases as of Monday.
