The Borno State has been the epicentre of the recent crises.
Non-state armed groups attacked the Balangele community in Pulka/Bokko of Gwoza local government area (LGA) and Kwapul community in Chibok Wuntaku Ward of Chibok LGA, respectively.
These attacks affected 116 individuals from 32 households, including 52 children, 29 women, and 35 men, resulting in ten injuries and 27 fatalities.
A bomb explosion has been reported in Klagaru Camp of Rann ward of Kala Balge LGA, affecting 27 individuals across 21 households.
This incident impacted six children, four women, and 17 men, resulting in 27 fatalities.
In addition, multiple fire outbreaks were reported in Water Board Camp in Monguno Ward, Monguno LGA, and Government Girls’ Secondary School Camp in Mafa ward, Mafa LGA, displacing 961 individuals from 222 households into the host community within the same ward.
Among those affected were 533 children, 238 women and 190 men.
The International Organisation for Migration (IOM) documented the displacement.
