NAIROBI, (CAJ News) – THE eighth edition of the Annual Africa Conference on Social Entrepreneurship (AACOSE) will be held in Kenya next week.
It will be held in the capital, Nairobi, on the 14th-to-16th under the theme “Social Economy: Building a Sustainable and Inclusive Future for Africa.”
AACOSE 8 will spotlight social entrepreneurship as a transformative force for addressing the continent’s socio-economic challenges. As inequalities persist, AACOSE aims to redefine Africa’s economic landscape by strengthening multi-sectoral collaboration between governments, businesses, civil society and global organizations.
AACOSE 7 welcomed more than 450 attendees, 32 exhibitors, 18 sponsors, 50 thought leaders and 20 curated sessions.
AACOSE 8 is expected to further accelerate the expansion of social enterprises across Africa.
The previous edition saw the launch of the Network of Africa Social Enterprises (NASE), a groundbreaking initiative uniting social entrepreneurs to drive meaningful change across the continent.
The upcoming conference is to reinforce Africa’s transition toward an inclusive economy where social impact and economic growth go hand in hand.
Since its inception in 2017, AACOSE has grown into a pan-African convening.
