JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – IN an unprecedented attack, Israel struck buildings in the Katara district in Doha, Qatar where Hamas leadership were meeting to consider the United States – Gaza peace proposal.
‘Oh my God, Oh my God’, screams could be heard from fleeing residents as thickplumes whirled into a dark cloud over the buildings blown by a series of explosions.
Qatar, designated a Major Non-NATO Ally in 2022, is an ally of the United States in the Middle East region.
In 2021 the United States requested Qatar to base Hamas leadership in Qatar as a neutral country where Hamas could be reached for communications regarding the Palestinian question.
Hamas leaders Khalil al-Hayya, Khaled Mashaal, and Zaher Jabarin, among others, were in a meeting with Iranian leaders at the Ritz-Carlton, Doha when deafening jets, believed to be about 10 stealth bombers and support F35 Phantoms searedinto attack.
The Hamas negotiating team members survived the attack, but six people were killed, including Hammam Al Hayya the son of Dr Khalil Al Hayya, the lead negotiator and a Qatari security official Corporal Bader Saad Mohammed Al Humaidi Al Dosari.
The fact that American-made fighter jets were used, flying in airspace monitored by at least 6 American air bases, suggested the United States was aware.
How could Israel be sure the jets flying to Qatar would not be intercepted if the US army was not informed? Such delicate military operations would be known by President Donald Trump who denied advance knowledge of the strikes.
Qatar hosts two American air bases, one of the largest being Al Udeid Air base. I have a question for Qatar Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani.
What is the purpose of American air bases if they allow enemy bombers through to attack the country where American bases are?
If the air bases were for security, why did they not intercept enemy aircraft flying through Saudi airspace?
It raises questions of the Arab League members logic, as well as regional and American double swords policy in the region.
If American air and army bases were for security, why were they in every neighbouring country?
For Israel to attack in Qatar it means the aircraft flew over Saudi Arabia, with 2 US air bases and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud allowed it.
If it were Robert Mugabe (MHSRIP) who did this despicable act he would have been hunted and struck to death and his country strangled. But it is Israel which is supposed to understand the Lord our God.
The African Union must ask Djibouti why it needs the largest American military base in Africa, commanded from Germany.
Why does Africa have American and French bases on this continent? What for? These questions must be answered.
Which brings me to the question of American politicians. The prestige of the United States has been dented permanently by its support for open genocide in Gaza.
The character of US politics is skewed towards puerile vengeful behaviour of sanctions, war and killing.
Joe Biden could have stopped the war in Ukraine before it started but headed billions to fuel it. Israel cannot do any evil without America.
The faults of Israel are on the face of the USA which finances and provides intelligence, naval and air support.
I read history, and one can see the trend that history repeats. Power corrupts. At the height of the power abuse is the beginning of the downfall.
Nobody knows Mongolia now. But the feared Gangis Khan was an emperor of the mighty Mongol empire. At the height of his power he was merciless.
Today the Mongol Empire is gone. The British ruled a third of the world, but where are they now? Same as the French.
The American empire cannot survive, because the USA abuses its exercise power. Nobody, at this juncture, state or human, except perhaps Israel, trusts America to be fair.
How can one allow aircraft to fly through countries which support and respect you to strike into countries which also support you.The American empire is on the decline.
