Thankfully, unlike us, Jehovah God is not human

PAUSE for a moment.

Imagine if Jehovah God was human!

What would happen to all our enemies, those who make us unhappy, those we suspect of any wrongdoing, cheating, or those that we believe hate us for no reason?

On a daily basis, human beings across the world sin against Jehovah God yet the Sovereign Lord continuously pardons them without any further retribution despite the gravity of their transgressions.

Jehovah continues to show His children some true love.

Can you imagine Jehovah allowing His sun to rise on both the evil and the good people while at the same time sending rain on the righteous and the unrighteous?

Would a human being do such a good thing to his or her own perceived enemies or suspects?

Matthew 5:45 of the English Standard Version confirms how Jehovah is completely different from us human beings “For he (Jehovah) makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.”

If indeed Jehovah was human, all our enemies would have died immediately upon suspecting they are the ones behind our misfortunes and curses.

All those that denied us business contracts due to our colour, race, tribe, nationality, religion or creed, believe me, a human would want all of them dead.

Jeremiah 29:11 of the Berean Study Bible reads: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope.”

The New King James Version states “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Jehovah being the supernatural does His things completely the opposite.

Where there is hatred, Jehovah causes love to reign. Where there is war, God brings peace. Where there is tribulation, He instead brings joy and where there is a curse Yahweh pours blessings.

This is why Jehovah insists our thoughts are not His hence doing the opposite with what humans would have prefered.

According to Isaiah 55:8 of King James Bible version, the Lord is quoted saying: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways.”

Isn’t it amazing to have the Creator of heaven and earth causing the sun to rise on the evil and on the good while sending rain to both the just and the unjust?

The reason why Jehovah does not change colours like a human is because He wants to teach us to tolerate one another, love each other, forgive one another as well as proving His blessings would not be stopped simply because our enemies do not like us.

Jehovah would want to send a clear message to those pretending individuals, who are widely known for not forgiving others yet they always want themselves to be forgiven once they sin or do wrong to others.

I like most an incident in which our Lord Jesus Christ challenged the Pharisees on John 8:7 of the New International Version.

Upon realising that the Pharisees were good at blaming others of wrongdoings, Jesus said: “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her,” while the English Standard Version says: “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.”

This was after the Pharisees had caught a woman committing adultery, and as such they wanted to stone her to death according to their custom.

Fellow brethren, know this very well. What Jehovah gives or promises, He does not change at all whether our enemies or detractors shout to the top of their voices.

Psalm 89:34 of the Christian Standard Bible reads: “I will not violate my covenant or change what my lips have said.”

The Berean Study Bible confirms: “I will not violate My covenant or alter the utterance of My lips.”

Further in the book of Malachi 3:6 of the Young’s Literal Translation, it is stated: “For I am Jehovah, I have not changed, And ye, the sons of Jacob, Ye have not been consumed.”

The book of Hebrews 13:8 of the New Living Translation adds: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”

Brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers, I therefore urge you to trust in Jehovah alone because He is the one who created us. Most importantly, Jehovah loves us unreservedly.

Jehovah doesn’t be grudge you because of the past.

Brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers, those who believe in this True Gospel, say amen!
