JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – A SOUTH African technology startup is debuting what it pledges is a groundbreaking digital platform poised to centralise event ticketing and management.

Umdoko Internet (UI) is introducing the minimum valuable product (MVP), called Amusema, which is set to make its debut this weekend.

This impending launch marks a significant step forward in reshaping attendee engagement and event coordination, and it promises to redefine industry standards, according to UI.

Amusema is to offer a comprehensive solution by managing the entire event lifecycle, from registration to post-event analytics.

Built on a highly scalable Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure, the inventor said Amusema leverages cutting-edge services for its development.

“Amusema is an intuitive event management platform which allows event organisers to set up their micro-sites within minutes, this is only possible because we’re using AWS,” Shakes Mkhonza, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of UI.

“Our custom software solutions align with the core objectives of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) and are designed to help small to medium-sized businesses build software more efficiently than ever before,” Mkhonza added.

The MVP phase is to be free to users as part of a trial. Amusema’s revenue model will rely on commissions and administrative fees. Post-MVP, UI disclosed Amusema can expand to serve a wide range of target markets, unlocking unlimited potential.

UI describes itself as a forward-thinking technology startup, specializing in modern software development.

Hailing from the East Rand of Gauteng, Mkhonza is software developer and has an interest in the music and events industry.
