DURBAN, (CAJ News) – THE Inanda, Ntuzuma and KwaMashu (INK) Kasi Xperience Festival, which ushers in Christmas in these townships, is set to be another crowd-puller.

Preparations for the ninth edition are scheduled for December 16 at the Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu.

It is celebrated as the Day of Reconciliation in South Africa.

Fans, traders and organisers were equally excited after the confirmation of the event and ticket sales began.

Kaslam Events is organising the festival.

Nomthandazo Gama, who stays next to Princess Magogo, is excited the event is returning.

“It means good money for us because when the event is held, the stadium gets packed,” she said.

The multi-purpose stadium has a capacity of 12 000.

“The stadium runs out of parking. Attendees then use our yards for parking, and pay for the service,” Gama said.

Zanele Mthethwa is also looking forward to the festival.

“The event is anticipated to be a crowd puller. I have been attending it since it started. It is always fully packed,” she said.

One of the organizers, Nhlanhla Ngwenya, confirmed preparations were underway.

“People must get their Early Bird tickets,” Ngwenya encouraged.

These are selling for R80 at TicketPro and Spar for a limited time only.
