Forgiveness rests with God, not church leaders

WHEN I was still young in the Gospel, I used to think only churches and their leaders, including bishops, priests, evangelists, prophets and pastors had the monopoly to facilitate forgiveness for sinners.

Little did I know churches and these individuals are merely spiritual catalysts to preach the gospel of repentance and salvation, so that whoever believes in Jehovah God through Jesus Christ shall not perish but have eternal life.

Therefore, this True Gospel is here to open your spiritual eyes, mend broken hearts and open ears for those who still believe their salvation hinges upon individuals instead of their Creator – who is Jehovah God.

Those that wrongly place their hope, trust and faith in human beings, be warned!

The end result is eternal extinction, death or extermination. Human beings die. Church founders are not exempt from death. Jehovah God remains the Rock of Ages.

I have chosen this Rock of Ages for eternal life.

John 3:16 of the Berean Study Bible correctly confirms this True Gospel when it accurately captures Jesus’ teaching: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Now, people of God, my appeal to you is have the ability to distinguish, detect or discern between roles being played by individuals such as church leaders, and what the Creator of heaven and earth wants.

A human being’s role, if ever one chooses to be an evangelist, pastor, priest or bishop, is to teach believers to know who Jehovah God is, and what He wants from us.

Their role as spiritual leaders is to teach ‘heathen’ or those not yet born again to receive the light and to know a true living Jehovah God. They must discourage sin, preach repentance and the gospel of salvation.

When I became spiritually mature after the Holy Spirit began to speak to me, I realised with or without a church, a believer in Christ, can always hear Jehovah God’s voice and receive forgiveness after confessing sins.

Just like at school, a teacher is there to teach or guide with correct syllabi to students to ensure they pass their examinations.

Passing tests or examination is as a result of such students’ willingness or commitment to excel. The student is responsible for own failure or success.

Here I’m referring to choices or ability to do good or bad so that when we finally depart earth, we are truly guaranteed to see Jehovah God.

The same applies to the Word of Jehovah God.

Psalm 37:25 of the Berean Study Bible confirms this True Gospel again: “I once was young and now am old, yet never have I seen the righteous abandoned or their children begging for bread.”

As for the Almighty Jehovah God to speak to you, and I today because we are His children, we have to be ready to humble ourselves, pray and seek His face as we strive to turn from wicked ways so that the Creator of heaven and earth would listen to us.

Jehovah God will always unconditionally forgive our sins provided we admit our wrongdoings.

Just like how friendships work. If you wrong one and refuse to apologise, one would not just forgive you. Simple!

However, when you show remorse, unreservedly, no matter how bad the things you committed against one, one will definitely forgive you.

This gospel teaching I’m sharing with you is confirmed in the book of 2 Chronicles 7:14 of the New International Version: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I (Jehovah God) will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Healing the land means “blessings.”

God will bless us on top of forgiving our sins. So, why waste resources that should be given to your parents and children showering pastors and church founders as if they are the ones who bless us?

Indeed, giving makes the giver rejoice but I totally reject forced giving.

Free giving makes the giver receive more but influencing congregants to give is not in line with Jehovah God’s word.

I am against a leader clutching a microphone throughout a church session influencing congregants to give.

Giving is merely a principle for givers to also receive. Whether one goes to church or not, if they give, it shall be given back to them.

When one becomes mature regarding the things of Jehovah God, one begins to alienate from false gospel teachings.

One of my favourite ambassadors of Jehovah God’s gospel, Apostle Paul of Tarsus, says in the book of 1 Corinthians 13:11 of the English Standard Version: “When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways.”

People of God, it is not a church where you go that makes yourself get blessed or protected from evil forces, it is Jehovah God’s promise to those who do His will.

Those who believe in this True Gospel say ‘Amen’.
