Forgiveness rests with God, not church leaders

True Gospel with SAVIOUS-PARKER KWINIKA
WHEN I was still young in the Gospel, I used to think only churches and their leaders, including bishops, priests, evangelists, prophets and pastors had the monopoly to facilitate forgiveness for sinners.

Little did I know churches and these individuals are merely spiritual catalysts to preach the gospel of repentance and salvation, so that whoever believes in Jehovah God through Jesus Christ shall not perish but have eternal life.

Therefore, this True Gospel is here to open your spiritual eyes, mend broken hearts and open ears for those who still believe their salvation hinges upon individuals instead of their Creator – who is Jehovah God.

Those that wrongly place their hope, trust and faith in human beings, be warned!

The end result is eternal extinction, death or extermination. Human beings die. Church founders are not exempt from death. Jehovah God remains the Rock of Ages.

I have chosen this Rock of Ages for eternal life.

John 3:16 of the Berean Study Bible correctly confirms this True Gospel when it accurately captures Jesus’ teaching: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Now, people of God, my appeal to you is have the ability to distinguish, detect or discern between roles being played by individuals such as church leaders, and what the Creator of heaven and earth wants.

A human being’s role, if ever one chooses to be an evangelist, pastor, priest or bishop, is to teach believers to know who Jehovah God is, and what He wants from us.

Their role as spiritual leaders is to teach ‘heathen’ or those not yet born again to receive the light and to know a true living Jehovah God. They must discourage sin, preach repentance and the gospel of salvation.

When I became spiritually mature after the Holy Spirit began to speak to me, I realised with or without a church, a believer in Christ, can always hear Jehovah God’s voice and receive forgiveness after confessing sins.

Just like at school, a teacher is there to teach or guide with correct syllabi to students to ensure they pass their examinations.

Passing tests or examination is as a result of such students’ willingness or commitment to excel. The student is responsible for own failure or success.

Here I’m referring to choices or ability to do good or bad so that when we finally depart earth, we are truly guaranteed to see Jehovah God.

The same applies to the Word of Jehovah God.

Psalm 37:25 of the Berean Study Bible confirms this True Gospel again: “I once was young and now am old, yet never have I seen the righteous abandoned or their children begging for bread.”

As for the Almighty Jehovah God to speak to you, and I today because we are His children, we have to be ready to humble ourselves, pray and seek His face as we strive to turn from wicked ways so that the Creator of heaven and earth would listen to us.

Jehovah God will always unconditionally forgive our sins provided we admit our wrongdoings.

Just like how friendships work. If you wrong one and refuse to apologise, one would not just forgive you. Simple!

However, when you show remorse, unreservedly, no matter how bad the things you committed against one, one will definitely forgive you.

This gospel teaching I’m sharing with you is confirmed in the book of 2 Chronicles 7:14 of the New International Version: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I (Jehovah God) will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Healing the land means “blessings.”

God will bless us on top of forgiving our sins. So, why waste resources that should be given to your parents and children showering pastors and church founders as if they are the ones who bless us?

Indeed, giving makes the giver rejoice but I totally reject forced giving.

Free giving makes the giver receive more but influencing congregants to give is not in line with Jehovah God’s word.

I am against a leader clutching a microphone throughout a church session influencing congregants to give.

Giving is merely a principle for givers to also receive. Whether one goes to church or not, if they give, it shall be given back to them.

When one becomes mature regarding the things of Jehovah God, one begins to alienate from false gospel teachings.

One of my favourite ambassadors of Jehovah God’s gospel, Apostle Paul of Tarsus, says in the book of 1 Corinthians 13:11 of the English Standard Version: “When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways.”

People of God, it is not a church where you go that makes yourself get blessed or protected from evil forces, it is Jehovah God’s promise to those who do His will.

Those who believe in this True Gospel say ‘Amen’.

CHIREDZI, (CAJ News) ZIMBABWEAN authorities have arrested some 100 people during a crackdown against illegal trade of firewood from the under-threat mopane tree.

The Environmental Management Agency (EMA) has partnered with the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) and also Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) to address the crisis most prevalent southeast of the country.

The arrests were made during July and the current month of August.

“We are working day and night to ensure that the mopane, which is being recklessly cut down and sold as firewood, is safeguarded,” said EMA chairperson for Chiredzi district, Abel Mugodhi.

“There is however need for other stakeholders to participate in the sustainable conservation of our land because we cannot solve this problem alone,” Mugodhi added.

The cutting down of the mopane tree is attributed to the power shortages experienced by Chiredzi residents.

However, there is a thriving market in the capital Harare, which is bearing the brunt of power outages.

Mopane is a multi-purpose tree used for building material, tool handles, charcoal and carvings as well as medicine.

Jonathan Mpamombe, Chiredzi Residents Association chairperson, urged EMA to embark on an information dissemination campaign to curb the destruction of the tree.

Environmental expert, Nyasha Goredema, said information on the importance of mopane tree in sustaining the people’s livelihood was limited.

“People who dwell in the Southern region can extensively benefit from harvesting mopane worms in order to supplement their diet,” Goredema said.

“Mopane worms can also be traded to generate income. Its trade provides good income revenue,” Goredema added.

from RAJI BASHIR in Khartoum, Sudan
KHARTOUM, (CAJ News) MORE than 50 people have died following incessant flooding in Sudan.

Nearly 194 000 people have been affected across the country since the devastation started in July.

The Humanitarian Aid Commission stated the 54 deaths have mainly been due to collapsed roofs and electrocution.

Crucial infrastructures such as water points, schools and latrines have been damaged and some roads have become impassable, cutting off entire villages and communities, especially in the worst-affected.

More than 37 000 homes have been destroyed or damaged.

Humanitarians are concerned by the high likelihood of more flash floods with the rainy season expected to last until October.

The White Nile River in the south of Sudan is worst affected with more than 66 000 people impacted and over 13 000 houses destroyed or damaged.

In total, 15 of Sudan’s 18 states have been hit.

Government authorities and humanitarian partners indicate that people urgently need emergency shelter, food, health services and clean water and sanitation.

There is also need for vector control to limit the spread of water-borne diseases.

“The priority need was shelter, since so many homes have been destroyed in the floods and many people had been dispersed,” said humanitarian coordinator, Jens Laerke.

Prior to the flooding crisis, the United Nations appealed for $1,1 billion for the country’s existing humanitarian needs, such as rising food insecurity.

Huawei, SA launch free 4IR, 5G training scheme

Drum Cafe Student send off at Huawei Technologies' event

Drum Cafe Student send off at Huawei Technologies’ event

by SAVIOUS KWINIKA
JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) SIX-THOUSAND postgraduate information and communications technology (ICT) students and practitioners in South Africa are to benefit from free training programmes on fifth generation cellular network (5G) and fourth industrial revolution (4IR) technologies.

Huawei South Africa and the Department of Communications and Digital Technologies (DCDT) will launch the online and on-site training.

Huawei made the announcement on Thursday at the joint DCDT annual Seeds for the Future send-off ceremony, which sees ten university students from various institutions across the country depart on a study trip to China.

Spawn Fan, the Huawei Chief Executive Officer, announced they planned to extend the 5G training course to more institutions.

It was recently launched at University of Pretoria, Wits University and University of Johannesburg.

“We are now partnering with the DCDT to deliver a 5G and 4IR online training platform with an accredited certification for 5 000 ICT students and professionals in South Africa. We aim to train a further 1000 students in our on-site programme,” Fan said.

DCDT and Huawei last year committed to jointly building an ICT Talent Ecosystem to support South Africa’s digital transformation.

Speaking at Thursday’s Seeds for the Future send-off, DCDT Minister, Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams, said through multilateral engagements such as in Brazil, Russsia, India, China and South Africa (BRICS) bloc, South Africa had resolved to cooperate at various levels including capacity building, skills development and research.

“The Seeds of the Future programme, which focuses on critical 4IR-related skills, is therefore an important opportunity to expose ICT students to Huawei’s world class research and training facilities in China,” she added.

The Seeds for the Future programme is aimed at bridging the gap between theory and practice and to develop local ICT talent through knowledge transfer and hands on experience.

Huawei is also finalising its Talent Development Strategy for 4IR-SA to contribute to DCDT’s goal of training one million ICT talents by 2030.

The department has adopted the theme, “Coordinate. Collaborate. Execute 4IR.”

It is to ensure communities, especially the youth, are equipped to take advantage of new digital technologies, unlock future jobs and drive competitiveness.

“At the heart of the 4IR conversation, is a people-centered response that speaks to jobs, skills and broad economic participation,” Ndabeni-Abrahams concluded.
